Moving is Very Troublesome for Me
Moving is very difficult for me. I have lived here all my life and now I am being asked to move. I do realize that I’m nearly thirty years old, but I don’t wish to. I believed my folks loved me living with them. I was always helping out around the house and I did anything they wanted.
They were always asking me to go to the store to get their prescriptions and I was always cooking the meals. I believed I was the perfect person to have round the house. It turns out, however, they’d like me out of the house.
They feel just like I’m too old to live here. I actually found out a few days ago that they were placing all of my things in NYC mini storage units. I am furious about that because I wasn’t notified. Now, half of my things are in storage NYC units. I want to go through each one of them and figure out where all of my stuff is.
Now and then, I’ve been thinking about taking my parents to court. I feel l as if I were going to be evicted from any other house, I’d need proper notification. I feel like it is the same in this situation. The remainder of my family thinks that I am overreacting and they also think that I am old enough to leave.
I am beginning to see the positive in this even though I know there is not too much. I have been searching for other homes to lease, but it is going to be a large change for me. I believe this also will be harder on my parents in the end. They’re so used to me always being there and helping out. Now they’ll need to do everything themselves.
